Bespoke glass installations for discerning clients who understand that true craftsmanship cannot be rushed, replicated, or replaced by modern shortcuts. Every project is accepted by invitation or careful consideration.
Most installers today rely on clamps, channels, and extrusions — mechanical shortcuts that compromise the purity of glass. Wet glazing is the original method: glass set directly into silicone with no metal hardware penetrating your shower base or threshold. No drilled holes. No visible fasteners. Just glass, precision, and decades of touch.
I am one of the last installers in Ontario who still works this way — not because it’s easier, but because it produces a result that nothing else can match.
Toronto’s Bridle Path district in the 1980s. Custom shower enclosures, carved glass, mirror wall units, and glass bars for the city’s most distinguished homes — working alongside interior designers and custom builders.
Hired as Project Manager for PM Designs to oversee all exterior glass railing installation on Phase 3 of Atlantis in the Bahamas. Every walkway railing was installed or personally authorized.
Rooted in Caledon since 2013. Three exhibition booths at the Orangeville Home & Garden Show. Serving Ontario from the GTA through Muskoka. Now refining the practice to its purest form — fewer projects, higher standards.
Watch wet glazing in action — the technique most installers have abandoned but the one that produces the cleanest result.
“Diamond Dave and his team are true craftsmen. Our shower enclosures were fabricated and ready to install sooner than estimated. The installation team was professional and exceptionally clean. We can’t say enough positive things.”
Tony & Katy — Bolton
I’ve been working with glass since 1980 — long before frameless shower enclosures became mainstream. What started as Diamond Dave in Toronto’s Bridle Path district evolved through decades of custom residential and commercial work across Ontario and internationally.
My partner Susanne is the other half of Palgrave Glass. She handles every design consultation, answers every call, and collaborates directly with each client from first contact through final walkthrough. When you reach out, she’s the voice you’ll hear — and the eye that helps translate your vision into something we can build.
I’m one of the last installers in the province who still practises traditional wet glazing — setting glass directly into silicone without clamps, channels, or drilled holes. It’s slower, it demands more precision, and it produces a result that nothing else can match.
At this stage of our careers, we’re not trying to be the biggest. We’re focused on doing the best work possible for clients who appreciate the difference. Every project gets our personal attention from first measurement to final silicone bead.
A curated selection from over four decades of custom projects. Full portfolio, video walkthroughs, and process documentation available upon consultation.
Every project follows the same disciplined process — no shortcuts, no surprises, no subcontractors you haven’t met.
We discuss your vision, review the space, and determine whether the project is the right fit for both of us. No obligation, no pressure.
Precision field measurements and design specifications. Every angle, every threshold, every fixture placement accounted for.
Glass is cut and finished to exact specification. No stock sizes, no forcing a fit. Each piece is made for your space alone.
I personally oversee or perform every installation. Wet glazed, precision-set, and finished to a standard most have never seen.
I no longer take every project that comes my way. Each commission receives my complete attention — from design through final installation.
“Highly recommended — Diamond Dave transformed our Bracebridge home. Very impressed that he kept to the original estimate with no surprises. Diamond Dave and his team are trustworthy and dedicated workers with attention to detail.”
Linda — Bracebridge, Muskoka
I work with clients who value the process as much as the result. If you’re building or renovating something that deserves an artisan’s hand — not a contractor’s schedule — let’s talk.
